Job Description
Position : Headquarter Sales Department Member
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Cultivate relationships within Eden Foods and with customers, prospects, food brokers, and industry members that result in mutual benefit and merchandising of Edenfoods. Become knowledgeable about Eden Foods’ products and principles. Become proficient in systems necessary to conduct business efficiently. Service and teamwork override all efforts.
- Carry out Dept. and Company developmental priorities and strategies.
- Provide superior service and follow-through to all individuals and companies that you and Eden Foods work with.
- Communicate promptly and accurately as circumstances warrant.
- Anticipate the needs of the Distributors, Retailers, Brokers, and Consumers in general, and specifically with those you work with.
- Develop Distributor, Retail, Broker, and Consumer relationships to facilitate business functions and overall development.
- Coordinate Sales activities and business communications consistent with the Marketing Dept.’s parameters at HQ as warranted.
- Manage business affairs consistent with Eden Foods’ ethics, marketing, terms-of-sale, contracts, and incentive agreements (IAs).
- Ensure reliable, prompt, and courteous service to customers, prospects, team members, and Company network contacts.
- Maintain regular contact with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and broker personnel regarding opportunities, needs, customer activities, and pertinent market information. Process data for RSMs to facilitate their work.
- Provide priority action to the needs of RSMs and Broker Representatives. Promptly handle requests and inquiries about product information, samples, services, various business forms / paperwork, and logistics.
- Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of Processes and Protocols utilized by the Sales Dept. and the Company.
- Participate in and foster industry relationships toward knowledge about and appreciation of the Eden brand.
- Focus on maintenance and accuracy of company data, business records, product, and customer information.
- Help to oversee and manage the proper use of Eden trademarks, brand names, and copyrighted intellectual property wherever it is being used. Promptly advise Administration staff about trademark or copyright issues.
