Job Title: Technician
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Technician to join our team at Eden Recovery Center.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients during their recovery journey. This includes fostering positive relationships, maintaining effective communication with team members, residents, and visitors, and providing guidance and support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer guidance and support to residents while monitoring behavior according to program guidelines.
- Facilitate two groups per shift and accurately document them in Kipu.
- Document all significant interactions in Kipu with each client.
- Assist with meal preparation, laundry, and bed changes upon discharge of residents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Supervise clients in self-administration of medication and complete medication inventories.
- Conduct routine facility checks to ensure safety and security, including client and property searches.
- Conduct and document urine testing.
- Attend all required staff training sessions and meetings.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and stocking supplies.
- Clean the facility, including client rooms, and ensure clients follow program and facility rules for safety.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in software programs for Windows PC and iPhone, particularly Kipu, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and timekeeping phone apps.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours:
Both part-time and full-time overnight (NOC/graveyard) shifts are available.
