Edenbrook of Green Bay part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is looking for an Activity Aide (Part Time).
Position : Activity Aide (Part time)
It will be every other weekend and 2-3 days during the week, totaling around 20-25 hours per week. Hours are flexible.
We are seeking individuals who are devoted to fostering meaningful and purposeful lives for our residents. The Activity Aide organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small-group facilitation, and large-group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and the value of approaches in the medical record.
Job functions will include :
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
- Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
- Help design programs to encourage socialization
- Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
- Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
- Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
- Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
