Position: Trained Medication Aide (TMA)
The Trained Medication Aide (TMA) will work at Fair Oaks Lodge, a long-term care and rehabilitation community in Wadena, MN. This role is crucial in assisting residents with daily activities and administering medications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, toileting, and eating.
- Maintain consistent charting rhythms for all residents in their care, following medication administration requirements.
- Report changes in resident needs or condition to wing or charge nurses.
- Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure safety and security.
- Treat residents with respect and dignity.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate active in Minnesota.
- Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certificate active in Wisconsin.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to safely perform job duties without harm to self or others.
- Ability to understand and follow CMT work assignments.
