Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus two years of relevant student records administration experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Preference will be given to candidates with prior direct experience in a higher education setting.

Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in these areas:
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills
- Strong skills in administering complex record systems, including some experience with student information systems
- Strong skills with multiple technical applications including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, graphics and presentation software, electronic calendar, email, and other applications. Uses Internet and Zoom efficiently.
- High awareness of and aptitude to learn the details of an academic institution as this leader will be involved in a number of departments and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with higher education organizational structures and academic policies.
- Fulfills information requests and answers a wide range of questions related to student records and files from students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Maintains and administers academic records, including official Seminary records, active files on students and graduates, inactive files on separated students, etc. Records grades, administers transcripts, maintains student files, outcomes assessment data, keeps confidential records secure. - Ensures compliance with all applicable internal and external policies and regulations.
- Interprets standard policies and investigates and resolves problems, referring unusual situations to the Dean.
- Supports certificate and community learning programs, including registration, scheduling, communications, and evaluation/follow-up
- Monitors student progress through academic programs: informs Academic Dean of probation issues, GPA issues, evaluation scheduling, generates list for graduation readiness.
- Manages the process of certifying veteran students' eligibility for VA educational benefits and maintains accurate records related to their academic progress.
- Provides support to the Academic Dean and Director of Assessment in managing a plan for outcomes assessment.
- Collaborates with the Academic Dean on activities related to commencement.
- Assists with creation and implementation of academic calendars, course schedules, and registration processes for Eden’s degree programs.
- Coordinates, supervises or carries out the compiling of data and preparation of reports from files and computerized records for internal and external reporting.
- Fulfills official transcript and related requests for degree and enrollment verification.
- Ensures the seminary’s compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to the Office of the Registrar.
- Supervises the work of the Assistant Registrar.
- Other duties as needed.
