On-the-job Maintenance Technician training.
Job Type:
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
- On-Call rotation once every 5/6-weeks
Summary: Perform advanced repairs inside and / or outside the facility, which may include structure repairs, painting, plumbing and electrical which also may include maintaining the grounds of EdenHill Communities properties.
Maintenance Technician-II Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined in the policies and procedures
- Have experience and be capable of performing carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Be able to perform major repairs on residential and commercial appliances including kitchen equipment.
- Be able to operate boilers, chillers, pumps, water softener and emergency power systems.
- Be able to perform inspections of the facility in accordance with life safety code requirements.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months EdenHill maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with 30 days EdenHill maintenance experience. Knowledge of Life safety codes and ability to read blueprints and schematics is necessary. 10 hours OSHA Certified Training Certificate.
