Pay range: The full pay range for this role is $17.50 to $29.00 per hour. The target pay for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.
Summary: This Financial Reporting internship position will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, i.e. monthly reconciliations, research reconciling differences, journal entries, etc.
This is a 12- week internship from May 2025 until August 2025 and is based in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Be a resource for the team in compiling data, conducting research, etc.
- Complete various projects.
- Provide an opportunity for existing team members to mentor and guide an entry level accountant.
- Gain an understanding of day-to-day accounting.
- Enhance technical skills for accounting journal entries.
- Opportunity to receive mentorship from the leaders in Accounting.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid schedule with three days in the office and remaining two days at your discretion; either working remotely or in the office. Time spent in an office environment, utilizing computers, phones, and general office equipment.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Graduate or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting
- Eligible to work in the US without employment sponsorship.
- Available for full time hours.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong excel skills to perform pivot ables, vlookup, etc
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimum supervision
- Entrepreneurial, energetic, and flexible personality with a bias towards action
- Possess strong analytical and research skills
