Southern Staircase is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join the team!
The desired candidate will be working in a warehouse environment pulling parts for orders going out that day and the next day. They will keep record of any and all parts going out and coming in. They will input shipping and receiving information using our company software. They will also maintain inventory counts by conducting a monthly cycle count. This candidate will also help load and unload truck deliveries of ordered materials to include stairs when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pulling parts for orders
- Parts Inventory
- Stage orders
- Unloading/loading of trucks
- Comply with Company Standard Processes for QC and Order Admin
- Complete paperwork per company standards
- Report any damage or issues immediately
- Work in warehouse
- Maintain a neat, organized work area.
- Accurately complete warehouse paperwork as required.
- Teamwork
- Comply with safety requirements
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in ERP systems or any company software used for work orders
- 2 years Shipping and Receiving experience
- Inventory control experience
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Experience with building materials a plus.
- Able to lift 50 lb.
- Ability to read and understand schedule.
- Ability to learn to accurately QC check and document order fulfillment.
- Able to work well with others in a small team environment.
- Excellent attitude.
- Basic computer skills to include: Microsoft Office with emphasis in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills.
