What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving Associate position at THE SYSTEMS DEPOT?
The System's Depot is a nationwide distributor of Security, Fire, Access Control, CCTV, and wire/cable with headquarters in Hickory, NC.
We have an immediate opening for a Shipping & Receiving Associate in our Duluth, Georgia branch.
Must be well organized and have shipping, receiving, and inventory experience. Strong computer skills are required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Shipping and receiving activities; including picking and packing inventory for product orders and will call orders
- Unloading and stocking inventory
- Assist in branch inventory levels, including regular cycle counts
- Handle customer returns, according to Customer Care policies
- Backup sales counter as needed, assisting customers and entering orders
- Product deliveries, as needed
Must frequently be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds. This position has potential opportunities to advance to sales and customer service.
