General Description
The position of Warehouse Associate/Shipping and Receiving (WASR) is engaged in daily warehouse processes heavily focused on shipping and receiving processes with a forklift. Responsible for safely and efficiently packaging, loading and unloading product for shipments in and out of the warehouse. Required to have a safety mindset while completing schedules and workload along with communicating updates to internal management on safety, quality and products. The WASR position will also support other technical functions within the warehouse as needed.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
•Utilize a forklift to load and unload product for customer shipments and internal operations.
•Update lead team and management on safety, quality and products as observed.
•Maintain warehouse organization of inbound/outbound products and supplies.
•Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service by properly preparing customer orders per company quality specifications.
•Support shipment processing as needed.
•Backup and fill-in other associate positions as needed, including other duties assigned.
Qualifications – Required:
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Able to work flexible hours as needed to include occasional overtime.
•Able to safely accomplish work within established deadlines.
•Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
•Prior experience operating a forklift.
•Able to stand or sit for long periods of time, frequently reach above shoulder height, bend, push and pull for long periods of time.
•Self-starter, dependable, and a team player.
Qualifications – Preferred:
•Prior warehouse or related experience.
•Able to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
Shift Hours: Mon-Thursday, Days, 10 hour shifts
