Edge Outdoor Living, Headquartered in Wilmington NC is seeking an experienced Landscape Sales Professional (LSP) to join our expanding team.
The Landscape Sales Professional will develop designs and proposals for residential outdoor living projects. The LSP will manage landscape design production and proactively work with other company groups to deliver best in area landscape installation projects that result in long term customer satisfaction and return business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professionally represent Edge Outdoor Living to develop the best in industry brand.
Pursue leads provided by Edge Outdoor Living marketing.
Develop leads through existing relationships with clients and vendors.
Close deals that give the production crews an opportunity to install quality craftsmanship at a profit.
Build relationships with clients, vendors and community.
Clear communication with clients to set expectations that reflect company processes and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of all materials and services offered by Edge Outdoor Living.
Timely collection of project payments.
Provide designs, visual aids and samples to ensure the clients thorough understanding of the proposed products and services.
Facilitate the handoff to the production team at installation
Conduct installation review with the customer at the end of the project.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Landscape/Horticulture or an equivalent level business degree is preferred
At least 2 year experience in the landscape profession
Strong knowledge of Planting, Turf, Irrigation, Hardscape and Lighting
Experience developing landscape designs via sketch or design application
Ability to utilize design software to produce design directly is a major plus
Understanding of budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
Proven career of sales, business and management success
Stable and continuous work history
This position requires excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills
A desire to continue sales, management and leadership education
Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
