We are hiring full-time Machine Operators the following shifts.

3rd Shift 10:45PM-7:15AM

POSITION SUMMARY:

Machine operator is responsible for operating industry specific metal fabricating machines. This includes performing process checks and making adjustments to ensure finished product is manufactured to required product specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Responsible for daily activities of machine operator, ensuring product adheres to Edge’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
• Perform machine set-up and change overs
• Operate metal fabricating machines
• Physical and visual inspection of product is required to prevent non-conforming goods. Correctly report all quality defects to the appropriate team member.
• Accurately complete product inspection documentation
• Troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform minor adjustments
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Write daily production logs in a legible manner

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Work safely and adhere to Edge’s safety policies
• Ability to read a ruler, understand measurements and do basic math accurately
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Must be willing to cross train on various machines
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Available for overtime as needed
• Positive attitude and team player
