What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Boiler Repair Technician position at Edge Outdoors?
Currently seeking A Boiler Tube Welder for an ASME code shop in the Export, PA Area. Must have at least five year’s experience in repair and installation and repair of boilers, pressure vessels and piping. You will be required to work on-site in the field locally and will be home nightly. This is not a travel job.
Boiler Tube Welder Requirements:
- Installation of boilers and piping
- Must be able to perform boiler re-tubes
- Must Perform welding processes on Carbon & Stainless steel and other metals
- Weld according to ASME Section VIII & ASME Section XI
- Ability to read blueprints
- Building of vessels and heat exchangers according to print specs
- Works from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions
Boiler Tube Welder Qualifications:
- Must pass Weld test
- 3-5 years of verifiable ASME experience
- Drivers license Required
- Drug screen and background check required

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
