What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Building Foreman position at Edge Outdoors?
Metal Building Contractor is currently hiring a Metal building Foreman for projects throughout the southwest US. Applicants should have 7 years of verifiable experience in the pre-Engineered Metal Building sector as well as 3 years as a foreman. This is long term work and a full-time position
Travel is required. $100/day per diem and $150 travel pay
Metal Building Foreman Responsibilities:
- The Metal Building Foreman will be required to direct work crews on the job site from steel erection, standing seam roofing, IMP, sheet metal siding, trim, gutters, insulation, etc.
- The Metal Building Foreman is held accountable for the safety and quality of their work and for completing the project within the budgeted cost and time frame.
- Oversee individual projects from start to finish
- Reading of Blueprints, Site plans, Etc.
- Operate various Equipment on site such as ATF, Lull, manlift, scissor lift
- We are looking specifically for applicants with experience erecting Butler buildings
- We are looking for applicants with experience with larger projects in excess of 200,000 square feet
Metal Building Foreman Qualifications:
- 7 Years Previous experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings
- 3 Years as a Steel erection foreman
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
- A Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
- Lift certifications are a plus
- OSHA cert is a plus
