Busy Bergen County Physical Therapy clinic looking for a front desk receptionist/ office administrator to perform office duties. Candidates must handle all administrative duties and produce formal reports extending throughout the company. Organization and detail oriented persons apply only.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling patients
  • Calling patients for appointment reminders
  • Take incoming calls and relay and take down messages
  • Respond to emails in a prompt manner
  • Stay in constant communication with physical therapists and supporting staff
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Authorize visits when necessary
  • Scanning/Faxing Files
  • Data entry using different platforms in clinic
  • Collecting patient copay's/payments
  • Assist Physical Therapists with any administrative needs
  • Keep track of referrals
  • Provide custom clinic reports
  • Light physical therapy aide duties (when necessary)
  • Minimal marketing duties for enhancement of the company

Experience

  • Medical Office front desk experience of 2 years preferred
  • High quality hospitality and customer service experience of 2 years preferred
  • Prompt for scheduling
  • Navinet for verification of insurance
  • Familiar with commercial insurance/WCOMP/MVA
  • Google Drive- Docs, Sheets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

  • Paramus, NJ (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Paramus, NJ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
