What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager- Talent Management position at EDGE Services, Inc.?
This is a contract position. It is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the Vienna, VA office.
What will you do in this role?
Provide project management support for the Talent Management team and two Integrated Talent Strategy (ITS) Project Teams: Performance Management and Talent Management Practices.
- For Talent Management: Seven-person team with two sub-teams Performance Management and Talent Management Practices led by managers.
- For workstreams: Support the two managers who are leading “project teams” comprised of their direct reports, as well as upwards of 15 team members and advisors from other HR areas. This work is a very significant subset of their overall team work.
- Plan, manage, and execute all aspects of project management for two ITS project teams
- In partnership with project team leads, guide project teams by developing and coordinating work plans, milestones, and deliverables
- Oversee project progress using ADO to ensure project schedule, documentation, and updates are in compliance with agreed upon ITS project management requirements
- Support individual team members in planning their work in Azure Development Ops (ADO) in accordance with division expectations, including 100 hours of work planned per sprint, and in alignment with Integrated Talent Strategy project titling structure for epics, features, etc.
- Schedule and facilitate sprint ceremonies including stand up (weekly), refinement, planning, and retrospectives.
- Utilize and/or update team dashboard to track key metrics and share with managers, team leader, and/or team members
- Define process and timeline for team members to prepare for division Quarterly Business Reviews
- Recommend additional project management activities to meet team objectives
- Partner with division Systems & Alignment team on new vendor requests as needed
Salary : $50 - $65
