3D Design Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Raymond, OH (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Join an innovative design team at a global automotive company as a 3D Design Engineer. This
role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a solid background in Mechanical or Aerospace
Engineering and a passion for automotive design and analysis. You will contribute to the
development and optimization of initial concept to finish production.
Responsibilities:
Design feasibility, cost analysis, strength calculations, part construction, and part
specification.
Schedule and coordinate activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of
assigned systems.
Will work on making 3D designs and 2D drawings of automotive electrical components from
initial concept through mass production. This may include vision systems and radar, sensors
for safety systems and related control units with mounting brackets.
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to share findings with team members
and senior management.
Required Skillset:
Minimum of 5 years of industry engineering experience making 3D designs and 2D
drawings of automotive electrical components from initial concept through mass production.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively.
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Bonus Skillset:
Previous experience in an R&D environment.
