The Institute of Beauty and Wellness is looking for an Esthiology Instructor to train, educate and shape the next generation of professionals at the Aveda Institute-Madison. As an instructor, you will be giving students a dynamic experience by providing hands-on training, relevant curriculum, and mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Teach core curriculum, including theory and hands-on facials, waxing, body treatments, makeup application, and advanced services
- Coach and provide feedback for further growth and development
- Assist students with state board preparations
- Inspire professionalism and a strong work ethic, as is required in the service industry
- Observe and mentor clinic floor
- Assist in coaching student development
- Implement company systems and policies
- Learn Aveda and Ultraceuticals products and services and then train students on the products and protocols
Qualifications:
- State of Wisconsin License in Esthiology
- Two years of experience in the beauty industry
- Prior teaching, training, coaching, or leadership experience
- Experience as a practicing professional and experience in advanced services such as peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, lashes, etc.
- Love for the beauty and wellness industry
- Aveda experience is plus
Schedule:
- Monday- Thursday: 4pm-10pm
Compensation:
- $23 depending on teaching experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
