The mission of the Human Resources Intern is to actively support the Human Resources department in various capacities. From coordinating new hire orientations to serving as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries, the Intern will play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive and engaging workplace. We are looking for either a co-op or full time 12 week internship that could start immediately.
Essential Job Functions:
- Update company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details.
- Coordinate and organize interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Post engaging job advertisements on job boards and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to showcase team achievements, education, and increase awareness of job opportunities.
- Research and implement initiatives to enhance team engagement through effective communication.
- Assist in planning and executing company events.
- Coordinate new hire orientations to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Assist with HRIS system integration, ensuring accurate migration and maintenance of employee data.
- Perform data entry and validation to uphold the integrity and accuracy of HR records.
- Collaborate with HR team members to streamline administrative tasks and enhance workflow efficiency.
- Provide general HR support, including assisting with employee inquiries and recordkeeping.
Required Technical Skills, Education, Experience, Training, and/or Credentials: To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resource Management or a related field (2-3 years into the program).
- Familiarity with HRIS (Bamboo HR, UKG) software is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of professionalism.
- Strong team player with excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Required Competencies:
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods throughout the day.
