We are hiring a Human Resources Intern for our PS Seasoning HR team in Iron Ridge, WI. As an Intern, you will collaborate with HR team members to deliver project results and carry out day-to-day activities in several areas of HR: Talent Management, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Employee Relations will be the primary areas of responsibility.
Primary Responsibilities:
Talent Management:
- Assist in identifying and developing internal talent process.
- Support the coordination of employee development programs and training sessions.
- Help track employee performance and maintain records of career progression.
Recruitment:
- Support drafting and posting job descriptions on various platforms.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and assist in coordinating interviews.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
Onboarding:
- Prepare and maintain onboarding materials.
- Help organize and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
- Ensure new employees complete the necessary paperwork and are equipped with essential resources.
- Support completing new hire checklists and other new hire onboarding tasks
Employee Relations:
- Support the HR team in addressing employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Help maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Maintain confidential employee data
- Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and employee safety programs
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to various HR initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
