Edgerton Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for immediate employment!
The successful candidate will be key in providing outstanding and reliable service primarily to the Edgerton community. Dependability and attention to detail is of the utmost importance in this role. This position is essential to the operations of the Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the pharmacists in the processing of prescriptions
- Verify incoming prescription information
- Accurately prepare patient prescriptions for dispensing
- Inventory management
- Maintains patient confidentiality and is compliant with all HIPAA standards
- Prepare and deliver prescriptions to patients in Edgerton and the surrounding communities
Qualifications Include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Accurate typing and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Previous technician experience, and/or certification preferred; not required
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Working Conditions Include:
- Physical requirements: Repetitive use of hands and fingers
- May require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 25 pounds)
- Ability to reach down to the floor and up to higher shelves to retrieve medications, and have the manual dexterity to handle small tablets and capsules, and to remove bottle caps.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary

Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 / hour -Pay may depend on skills, experience, and other qualifications

- Wisconsin Technician Registration (License) (Preferred)
