Overview
Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Network Systems Technician to support the IT program at a major national laboratory. Work will be performed onsite in Los Alamos, NM.
Responsibilities
- Manages the performance and profile of networked computer systems in support of programmatic activities.
- Provides technical assistance to computer system users.
- Assures computer system configurations conform to Institutional security requirements.
- Audio and video setup for meetings and events
- Learn laboratory policies to complete assignments.
- Responsible for developing solutions to routine technical problems of moderate scope and has minimal responsibility for end products
Qualifications
- High school diploma and 1-2 years of related experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance.
- Experience with CISCO
- Knowledge and experience applying technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Able to learn and work as a part of a team.
