Job Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager for our pipeline and terminal infrastructure. This position is responsible for developing and overseeing our maintenance programs to ensure the safe, dependable, efficient, and regulatory compliant operations of our pipeline and terminal assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance platforms, cost tracking and management of contractors as well as a deep understanding of refined products pipeline and terminal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to prevent unplanned outages and extend the life of facility equipment.
- Manage the regulatory compliance inspection schedule of pipelines, tanks and safety devices including scheduling contractors and maintaining complete records of all inspections, repairs, and equipment data.
- Schedule operational maintenance requests, prioritizing urgent repairs to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Plan maintenance projects including selecting and scheduling contractors, ordering necessary materials and equipment, and ensuring adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
- Manage the maintenance budget and provide monthly expenditure reports for current and planned maintenance projects. Adjust project schedules as needed to meet budget forecasts.
- Oversee third party contractor management platform including Operator Qualifications (OQ) and insurance requirements.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory, tools, and consumable materials for maintenance projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, technology, or related field preferred.
- Additional certifications or licenses will be given consideration.
- Experience:
- Familiarity with oil and gas midstream maintenance and operations is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in liquid pipeline and terminal operations and maintenance is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Previous experience in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is required.
- Computer and application skills is required (i.e., Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
- Familiarity with accounting system (i.e., SAP, Lawson, Microsoft 365, NetSuite) is preferred.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Working Conditions:
- Work schedule may require flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies and operational issues at any time.
- On-call duties required during emergency situations.
