Apartment Maintenance Job :
We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician. This position involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to keep our apartments in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
- Painting, Drywall, and Texture:
- Repair and patch drywall as necessary.
- Apply texture to walls to match existing finishes.
- Paint interiors and exteriors of apartments, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Plumbing:
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs.
- Install new plumbing fixtures when required.
- Perform basic maintenance on water heaters and other plumbing systems
Electrical:
- Handle light electrical repairs including changing light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety standards.
Flooring:
- Install, repair, or replace various types of flooring including carpet, tile, laminate, and hardwood.
- Ensure floors are maintained to enhance the appearance of the living spaces.
General Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on apartments.
- Respond promptly to tenant work orders.
- Perform minor carpentry and hardware installations.
Equipment:
- Must own a reliable, working car for transportation to different job sites.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in apartment or property maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks.
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with residents.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Schedule:
- Full-time position with the possibility of on-call duties for emergencies.
- Schedule may include weekends and holidays as needed.
