Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Procedure System Specialist opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Procedure System Specialist -
The Procedure System Specialist will provide support in preparing, developing, and writing new or revised technical and administrative procedural documents per applicable requirements for procedural document administration.
Duties:
- Comply with all applicable M&O Contractor Site Programs Requirements.
- Develop and revise operational, technical, and administrative procedural documents in accordance with site requirements, standards, and approved formats/templates.
- Ensure procedural documents are developed, reviewed, and approved by the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure procedural documents are routed for review/approval via a management-approved method for electronic review and approval (e.g. Automated Procedure System (APS), or Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) or EPS (Electronic Procedure System).
- Ensure that operational, technical, administrative, and program requirements are accurately integrated into procedural documents.
- Ensure technical and applicable requirements documents such as vendor manuals, diagrams, charts, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and SRIDs are reviewed and are accurately integrated into procedural documents.
- Prepare, route, and track procedural documents through all stages of the Ensure that all procedural document review comments are properly dispositioned, documented, and incorporated as applicable.
- Assemble and maintain the appropriate documentation for the procedural document history files.
- Ensure that Assisted Hazard Analysis (AHA) has been performed, as applicable, for all assigned technical procedural documents.
- Ensure that all applicable/appropriate controls to eliminate/mitigate hazards are incorporated into assigned procedural documents per the AHA.
- Participate in SRS Behavior Based Safety (BBS) and Continuous Improvement Programs.
- Perform Peer reviews as requested.
- Perform Quality Checks as requested.
- Perform Procedure Walk-downs / Validations as appropriate.
- Perform records processing and indexing as requested.
Education/Yrs. Of Experience:
- BA/BS degree in business administration and one (1) year of related accounting/financial experience OR an associate degree in business administration and four (4) years of relevant experience OR a high school diploma and seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
- At least seven (7) years of procedure writer experience required and knowledge of Word and procedure software (i.e. Smart Plant foundation, Aha Assisted Hazard database knowledge and use).
- Ability to multi-task while handling multiple procedures and customer requests.
- Customer service minded and able to deal with all customers professionally to meet the end goal.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possessed active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years.
- Experience working in an operations facility.
- Three to five (3-5) years' experience managing writers or users of technical procedures.
- Three to five (3-5) years' experience developing technical procedures

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance (an active clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties).
