Position Summary
Edgewell is seeking a Category Analyst to serve on our Category Advisory Team. This role will support category projects and initiatives with in-depth analysis utilizing various data sources and tools including, but not limited to, the development and execution of category growth stories, category reviews, assortment recommendations, Modular assessments, scorecards, delivering timely Scintilla reporting, track in-stock and inventory metrics, and ad hoc analytics. This role will report to the Senior Category Advisor, Walmart Suncare.

Responsibilities
- Provide analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects and initiatives through data pulled from Syndicated Data Platforms and Walmart’s Scintilla Suite
- Build, update, and refresh dashboards/scorecards for regular and accurate business performance reporting
- Support the Development of category strategy and execution through building and turning in Walmart Modulars
- Assists the Walmart Buying Team from an Inventory and Forecasting Perspective
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities
- Strong presentation skills with skill in storytelling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization
- Strong documentation, analytical and reporting capabilities
- Strong project management skills. The ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience working in a complex, dynamic organization and driving collaboration with various key stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams
- Ability to collaborate with external vendor client service teams
- Motivated independent, self-starter that is comfortable in start-up type atmosphere and is willing and ready to “roll their sleeves up”
- Experience utilizing JDA to execute and turning in JDA Modulars to Walmart
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Walmart Scintilla Report Builder, Shopper Behavior and Customer Perception
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Circana/Nielsen iQ and database management
- Clear understanding of how to pull data Syndicated Resource Platforms
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to develop category stories leveraging consumer and shopper knowledge (i.e., Kantar KRiQ, Mintel, etc)
- Base understanding of qualitative and quantitative shopper and consumer surveys and how to apply to business initiatives. business case scenarios
- Experience forecasting and understanding the relationship between Days-of-Supply and Run Rates

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
