Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming and luxurious dining experience.
- Guide guests through the menu with expert knowledge, offering recommendations and pairing suggestions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages following fine dining etiquette, including proper plate placement and wine service.
- Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Understand and explain menu ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles.
- Have a strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, including proper pairing and presentation.
- Handle high-end table service techniques such as tableside preparation, decanting wines, and formal plating.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring cleanliness and proper food handling.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of 2 years in fine dining, luxury hospitality or upscale restaurant service.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service etiquette
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the restaurant’s dress code and grooming standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
