Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an IT Sales Manager at EdHike LLC. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating leads, managing accounts, and driving IT sales. The role is based in Iselin, NJ, with flexibility for remote work.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients in various industries.
- Conduct outreach, cold calling, and networking to identify potential business opportunities.
- Establish, build, and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their staffing needs.
2. Needs Assessment & Proposal Development
- Meet with clients to assess their staffing and consulting requirements and understand project scopes.
- Present tailored staffing and consulting solutions, including contract, temporary, and permanent placement services.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts that outline services and costs.
3. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Track and manage sales pipeline and forecast revenue for reporting to leadership.
- Maintain CRM data, documenting client interactions and opportunities.
4. Collaboration with Recruitment Teams
- Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and prioritized.
- Work with recruitment and account management teams to match candidates effectively to client requirements.
5. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the market to refine sales tactics and approaches.
6. Client Satisfaction & Account Management
- Regularly check in with clients to ensure satisfaction with staffing services and resolve any issues.
- Foster ongoing relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
7. Reporting & Compliance
- Provide regular sales reports and updates on client accounts.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
1. Work Experience
- 2-5 years of sales experience in staffing, consulting, or a related field, ideally in IT or technology solutions.
- Familiarity with IT terminology and concepts (cloud computing, software development, data analytics) to effectively communicate with clients.
2. Sales and Business Development Skills
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience with lead generation, cold calling, and client acquisition in a B2B setting.
- Consultative selling skills to assess and meet client needs, as well as experience crafting and negotiating proposals and contracts.
3. Technical Proficiency
- Basic understanding of technical roles (e.g., software developers, network engineers, data scientists) to match client requirements with candidate qualifications.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and articulate the value of staffing and consulting services.
