The TMS Integration Specialist will serve as a vital member of the technology team who will have responsibilities related to the overall support of the TMS platform, management of certain vendor communications and relationships, and project management relating to ongoing and new technology integrations for the business. In this role, you will be focused on enhancing the existing technology and systems while playing a key part in helping continue to scale through ongoing technological development and advancements.

- Transportation Management System (TMS) support
- Primary point of contact for all TMS related issues, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and resolve daily support tickets and manage complex issues and escalations independently with the ability to pull in other team members as needed.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to address system errors, data discrepancies, and performance issues.
- Oversee user management within the TMS, including role-based access control, permissions, and account setup.
- Assist in system configuration and employee onboarding/offboarding support as required.
- Support integration efforts between the TMS and external platforms (e.g., EDI, API connections, customer, and carrier portals).
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with vendor contacts.
- Attend virtual webinars and in person conferences to continue to develop an understanding of technology and future advancements to benefit the business.
- Successfully assist with the project management and implementation of the TMS update in Q3.
- Identify opportunities to enhance IT processes and efficiencies within the company.
- Explore and evaluate AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiencies, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal Customer Sales and Account Rep teams to optimize workflows, understand client requests and coordinate/manage tasks related to API or EDI system integrations.
- Source and vet third party vendors and assist in overseeing assigned vendor integration projects that support the success of business and technology strategies.
- Maintain key technical relationships with partners in the technology space and work closely with technology providers to ensure smooth operations and cost-effective solutions are being provided.
- Understand business objectives and requirements to build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other tools.
- Participate in the planning, organization, and management of certain technology projects from beginning to completion.
- Engage with various internal teams regarding support, training, and new technology implementation. It is critical this is executed with a service mindset, creating a positive customer support experience ensuring timely resolution to open issues.
- Utilize transportation and logistics specific platforms and networks to stay connected with changes and trends happening in the industry.
- Stay informed about emerging AI technologies and their potential applications in logistics and proactively suggest pilot projects or tools that could drive efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities where AI-powered analytics, predictive modeling, or automation can streamline processes and improve decision-making.
- Assist with general IT support tasks when necessary.
- 4 years of experience
- Experience in TMS integration and support (McLeod helpful)
- Experience working with Logistics/Transportation applications
- Working knowledge of EDI / API integration capabilities.
- Experience working in technical support
- Plus skills include SQL, PowerBI, Cloud, Microsoft Applications, etc.
