Project Engineer
- Participating in project design, documentation preparation and tracking submittals, RFI's, schedule updates and project logs.
- Evaluating field problems, scheduling project meetings, and coordinating timely reviews by resolving onsite issues to increase overall margin on the project.
- Researching necessary building permits and timely submit applications; follow-up review process to ascertain and receive approval.
- Analyzing data such as engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase orders to understand scope of work for a project.
- Monitoring onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Occasional chairing of weekly job meeting to submit project progress and pending issues to project manager.
- Source and solicit suppliers and subcontractors for bid proposals prior to submission deadlines for attaining new jobs.
- Assisting project manager in pricing and reviewing changes to scope of work with the client and sub-contractors.
