What are the responsibilities and job description for the Programmer/Analyst position at EDI Staffing?
Programmer / Analyst - Hybrid schedule in Harrison, NY
We need a person with EDI skills with knowledge of mapping 850 / 856 / 810 preferably in the garment, accessory industry. Programming experience with ColdFusion preferred.
- Need to have a strong understanding of EDI, be able to fix errors etc.
- Also 940 / 945 / 943 / 944 for warehouse 3PL integration
- Knowledge of ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript a plus
- Knowledge of API a bigger plus
- Strong knowledge of SQL, the person will have to review and do programming to work with SQL tables to get the information out.
- Initially day to day activities would include being responsible for fixing errors that occur.
- Mapping new EDI clients and making updates to current clients.
- Would also like to use their knowledge of EDI architecture to streamline our process.
- Create a more robust validation process
- Environment is fast paced, able to multi-task projects
