As a Culinary Product Developer / Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our product innovation, combining culinary creativity with thoughtful design to deliver memorable and crave-worthy food gifting experiences. From brainstorming bold new concepts to bringing them to life in stores nationwide, your work will directly impact how people celebrate life’s sweetest moments.
Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of innovative food gifting products—from concept through commercialization
- Stay on the pulse of food, flavor, and design trends to inspire new product ideas
- Translate trends and insights into beautiful, delicious, and operationally executable product designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality, proper product testing is complete, and operational standards
- Support the creation of marketing and merchandising visuals through ownership of product display elements
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Edible’s product portfolio, store operations, and product technology systems
- Respond to ad-hoc corporate product-related requests and contribute creative solutions to support decision-making (company events, visitor gifts, executive requests, etc.)
- Champion food safety and compliance standards throughout the product development lifecycle
- Assist in building tools, processes, and documentation that enable innovation and product excellence
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on culinary experience: General food preparation expertise, Knife-handling abilities, baking techniques and expertise, and knowledge of nutrition
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, food science, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated experience in developing or contributing to successful food / perishable products in-market
- Strong working knowledge of food ingredients, especially fruits, toppings, and edible decorations
- Familiarity with food safety standards, store operations, and product development best practices
- Experience working with external suppliers, vendors, or sourcing partners preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
