Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of product knowledge and quality standards
- Welcomes and connects with every customer to provide excellent customer service
- Identifies customer needs and appropriately suggests products to enhance service and meet sales goals
- Assists customers in selecting and purchasing Edible® products
- Uses effective sales techniques and demonstrates strong product knowledge
- Converts customer inquiries into sales
- Builds long-term customer relationships and fosters trust and loyalty
- Responds to customer needs promptly and professionally
- Maintains a clean and appealing customer service area and equipment
- Manages difficult customer situations calmly and professionally
Operational Responsibilities:
- As needed, prepares a variety of fruit arrangements, dipped fruit, and ETG products according to Edible® standards
- Follows store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station
- Performs cleaning tasks per established cleaning standards and works as a team player
- Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates clear communication with customers and coworkers
- Adheres to merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storage standards
Financial Responsibilities:
- Follows cash handling and register policies
- Adheres to inventory stocking and recording guidelines
- Takes responsibility for learning all aspects of the position
- Demonstrates and delivers the Edible Experience
- Trains in customer service, production, and delivery driver roles as needed
- Completes in-store training and utilizes the digital training portal on an ongoing basis
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working in customer service or a food service establishment preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to sell and up-sell products
- Good math and money-handling skills
- Positive attitude
- Enjoys working within a team
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Drive and determination
- Desire for personal and professional growth
- Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record
- Computer skills, including Microsoft software and register skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout the assigned shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
