What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Mental Health Professional-Children position at Edifying Lives?
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related human service field
- Provides intensive in-home counseling services in a one-to-one, family and group setting for youth and their families with emphases on parenting skills training, behavioral, social and/or recreational needs.
- Provides a variety of interventions in individual’s home and community as appropriate and necessary. These interventions may be behavioral, social and recreational, as needed.
- Must be able to function as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are require
- Behavior management training and the ability to manage challenging behaviors and implement positive behavior support plans
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Behavior Management Certification
- QMHP-C Certification
- Must submit to and receive satisfactory results from a criminal background investigation
- A valid driver’s license and current copy of DMV driving record
- A copy of the declaration page of automobile insurance is required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
