Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in building out the HR function within a reputable and growing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of human resources, including benefits, compensation, administration, and HR processes and procedures. You will be responsible for driving HR initiatives that align with the company's goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the full range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compensation, and compliance.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits, ensuring they are competitive within our industry and aligned with company goals.
- Manage annual performance review and merit increase processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters, offering guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR systems, ensuring all HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support talent management and development initiatives, including employee training and career development programs.
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement, recognition programs, and proactive communication strategies.
- Manage workers’ compensation insurance and claims process. Partner with safety committee to implement best practices and compliance.
- Continuously improve HR processes, systems and documentation to enhance efficiency and provide a consistent, rewarding employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in generalist or varying HR roles, with experience in benefits and insurance administration, compensation, employee relations, and compliance.
- Experience in a manufacturing or construction industry environment preferred.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, federal and state labor laws, and HR technology systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing company and work collaboratively with management, supervisors and employees in all departments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with members at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
