The Sr. Product Engineer will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and testing new products, while also sustaining existing products. This role requires hands-on involvement with a small team of engineers, designers, and technicians to develop new product specifications, project plans, and ensure successful industrialization of final designs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead design, prototyping, and testing of new products while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Manage product development timelines, budgets, and costs, providing regular status updates.
- Direct the creation and maintenance of 3D models, detailed drawings, and Bills of Materials.
- Perform mechanical engineering calculations and trade studies to inform design decisions.
- Support manufacturing, customer service, and field technicians with technical expertise.
- Organize and conduct product Design Reviews and oversee prototype builds.
- Ensure proper use of CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and PDM / PLM systems (Autodesk Vault desired).
