- LOCATION: Edlen's Miami office services the Miami and the South Florida markets.
- SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience. Hourly plus eligible for overtime.
- HOURS: Working early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required to prep and service events. Due to the last-minute nature of the work schedules are subject to change May be required to travel to multiple venues.
- TRANSPORTATION: Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- BACKROUND CHECK: An offer of employment will be conditional on completing a criminal background check.
- Must demonstrate clear communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
Essential Functions
- Select large quantities of electrical material from warehoused inventory, arrange and load on a truck(s), transport to a job site(s) and offload material at a job site(s).
- Reads load lists and material requests to determine type and quantity of materials requested, availability of stock and priority.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine when the stock is low on items and replacements needed.
- Examines material received, verifies parts numbers, and checks discrepancies such as shortages, discrepancies, damaged or unmarked parts.
- Build and repair electrical equipment as needed.
- Build, assemble and/or repair material handling equipment.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse and job site environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as lift trucks, pallet jacks, work vans and box trucks.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a physical role. This would require the ability to lift items up to 75 pounds, walk several miles daily and pushing large baskets of material weighing several thousand pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving vehicles and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
