    About the Position
    The Human Resources Director of Certificated Staff plans, organizes, and manages systems, procedures, and policies for effective personnel management of certificated staff, including recruitment and selection, staffing and assignment, performance evaluation, investigation of alleged misconduct, and administration of agreements for assigned areas of responsibility. Supervises personnel data management, placement of all student teachers, and substitute coordination.


    This position begins the 2025-26 school year. Start date is August 11, 2025

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field; and,
    • More than four years (4 ) of work experience as a human resources director and/or school building administrator/principal or assistant principal
    • Washington State Principal Certification, Washington State Program Administrator Certification, and/or Superintendent Credential

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bi-lingual/multilingual
    • Previous experience as a certificated classroom teacher
    • Previous experience serving as the evaluator/supervisor of certificated teachers
    • Successful experience in educational leadership

    2024-25 Director Level IV Salary: $187,684 to $191,513 per year, depending on education credits (2025-26 salary schedule not yet finalized).

    • Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year (Health, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability, Life and AD D Insurance, and options for HSA, FSA, and DCAP). Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by employees who work at least 3.5 hours per day in a continuing position.
