We are seeking an Academic Manager to join our team at the Edmonson County School District. As an Academic Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership in all areas of academic programs, including curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student assessment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Job Requirements
- Shall hold a bachelor's degree or higher and the required Kentucky certificate for the assigned position.
- Shall demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students, peers and adults.
- Shall demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and faculty.
Your duties will include:
- Developing an optimum learning environment which is protected from encroachments on instructional time.
- Visiting classrooms on a regular basis and recording events for follow-up conferences.
- Requiring instructors to submit lesson plans on a regular basis, reviewing such plans and returning them promptly to instructor with appropriate comments.
