Overview
The Production Control Specialist is responsible for the coordination of writing up production orders, ordering material, helping in shipping/receiving and monitoring inventory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counts, customer fill rates, and yearly physical inventories
- Creation of production orders and purchase orders
- Inventory transactions as required
- Ensure confirmations are accurate and delivery is on time
- Other duties as required by management
- Train as back up for shipping/receiving
- Kitting orders for production
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

Required Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge in Inventory Management techniques & ERP systems
- Strong Team player
- Attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills particularly Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Other requirements as deemed necessary by management
- Quickbooks knowledge
- Shipping domestic and internationally
Education/Experience
High school diploma, or equivalent; 1-2 years in administration
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate office equipment such as a copier; ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; work in office setting; to lift up to 40 pounds.
