What you will do
Role Overview :
As the Procurement Associate you will be responsible for creating, negotiating, and managing a competitive bid process for owner-supplied equipment and engineering services for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. In this role, you will ensure timely ordering, tracking, and delivery of critical equipment, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to meet project schedules while optimize costs.
Main responsibilities :
- Support in the development and execute procurement plans for owner-supplied equipment, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers, overseeing performance, pricing, monitoring lead times and compliance with contract terms.
- Manage purchase orders, confirm specifications, and track equipment production and delivery schedules.
- Monitor on hand inventory, ensuring efficient allocation and delivery of equipment to project sites.
- Negotiate terms and conditions for equipment procurement contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Engineering, Project Management, and Construction, to confirm equipment specifications and resolve procurement challenges.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sources.
- Standardize procurement processes and tools for efficiency and repeatability across projects.
- Track procurement performance metrics and generate reports on cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Master Service Agreement development for key services and material vendors, Negotiate, execute and manage on going spend and compliance.
