Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities / asset management is seeking to add an Electrician to its team. This role will work onsite in Benton Harbor, MI and works Monday-Friday 7am-3 : 30pm. This is a 1-year contract-to-hire role that pays $37.90 per hour. The key to this role is prior commercial electric experience. Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation,an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package.
Job Responsibilities :
- Interior Lighting : Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair interior lighting systems, including fixtures, wiring, switches, and controls to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
- HVAC Systems : Assist in the electrical aspects of HVAC systems, including wiring, motor controls, thermostats, and power connections, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Chillers : Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on chiller systems, including diagnosing electrical issues, replacing faulty components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Supporting Other Building Engineers : Collaborate with other building engineers to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, support general building maintenance, and ensure the seamless operation of facility systems.
