Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a Part-Time Workplace Experience Coordinator to its team. This role will work onsite in New York, NY and works Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm. This is a 3-month contract role that pays $29.60 per hour. The key to this role is prior experience in a customer service role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greets all visitors with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor as the first point of contact.
- Answers telephone calls professionally and provides accurate, thorough information.
- Maintains detailed records and logs of service requests and tracks their status.
- Coordinates and confirms recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of requestors.
- Supports janitorial, maintenance, and general workplace services including mail, office supplies, and employee onboarding.
- Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following property-specific security procedures.
- Organizes and manages on-site events, including securing space, setup, teardown, and delivery of supplies.
- Coordinates with vendors and acts as a liaison between them and the workplace or facilities team.
- Handles inquiries and complaints from employees, guests, and coworkers with empathy and professionalism.
- Uses Microsoft Office Suite and mobile technologies to perform day-to-day responsibilities.
- Writes routine reports and correspondence and communicates complex information clearly within the team.
- Follows specific instructions and uses established procedures to solve routine problems.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills and adapts to flexible work schedules as needed.
Required Skills:
- 1 year of relevant experience in customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly adaptable and flexible.
- Strong knowledge of the surrounding area and all recreational, hospitality and business-related information.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Physical ability to assist. Able to lift 30 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
- Hospitality accreditations preferred
