ESC has an existing direct hire opportunity for a Strategic Supply Chain Analyst to join our Computer business team . In this role, you will play a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations for Electronic components , driving cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency. As an integral member of our team, you will leverage data analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities for cost savings within the supply chain of electronic components, while maintaining high-quality standards and seamless operations. This position offers a Hybrid 1st shift schedule, Monday - Friday, based in Waukesha, WI .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Reduction Strategies :
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to reduce waste and optimize resources.
Supplier Management :
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.Conduct supplier performance evaluations and identify opportunities for consolidation or alternative sourcing.Data Analysis & Reporting :
Analyze supply chain data to track costs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Prepare and present detailed reports on cost-saving initiatives, performance metrics, and improvement opportunities to senior management.Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the Dedicated Computing Supplier Pyramid process to ensure we have the best balance of strategic and key suppliers to support the business strategyCross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, operations, finance, and manufacturing, to align cost-reduction strategies with organizational goals.Work with stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of changes without compromising quality or delivery timelines.Market Research & Benchmarking :
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and competitiveness.Benchmark current supply chain processes against industry standards to identify gaps and opportunities.Risk Mitigation :
Assess risks associated with supply chain disruptions, cost fluctuations, and supplier dependencies.Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks while maintaining cost efficiency.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and process optimization within the electronics and / or computer industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in supply chain software and tools, including Infor Syteline (required) , SAP, Oracle, and Power BI.Proven track record of successful cost-saving initiatives and supplier negotiations.Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred :
Advanced degree (MBA / MS) preferred.Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
