What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Developer position at Educated Solutions Corp?
ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer working onsite in Seattle, WA to support our premier client’s worldwide sustainability team. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with building in Cloud such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with web documents and lifecycles. This is an 8-month contract role that offers experience working with a great team that builds and ships quality software. You will be working on a custom website building a new eCommerce experience leveraging React/JS, HTML/CSS and TypeScript.
Responsibilities:
- Build/Code static and dynamic pages from these mockups and additional specifications
- Create and manage SCSS styles and themes while building with a custom/established design system
- Ensure customer-facing new features meet style requirements
- Create code for responsive front-end experience with React
- Cross-browser test and troubleshoot site presentation
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and researchers to refine the user experience.
Required Skills:
- A proven portfolio demonstrating the above skills will be required
- 5 years of experience in front-end/web development projects
- Browser rendering and cross-browser knowledge
- Expert with HTML/CSS/React/SCSS
- Exhibit an understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Able to operate in a Windows/macOS/Linux environment
- Familiarity with front-end automated testing (such as Cypress, Selenium etc.)
- Familiarity with building on Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Preferred Skills:
- Basic software deployment and CI/CD familiarity
- Familiarity with web documents and lifecycles (DOM, sessions, cookies, local storage)
