What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School/High School Emotional Support Paraprofessional/Teaching Assistant position at Education School Provider?
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Classroom/Teacher support for an Emotional Support Classroom
Support Middle School and High School students with behavior and social needs
Supervise lunch and activities.
Use verbal de-escalation strategies to help students.
Supervise and Support students walking to a different class
Assisting the Classroom Teacher with tasks.
Provides daily support in the classroom.
Willing to be trained in a verbal and physical de-escalation and restraint program.
Classrooms have the maximum of 12 students.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
