Job Description
To support the vision, mission and strategic priorities of ESC Region 12 and to provide training in the following areas to Region 12 educators to further meet the needs of students in the area of secondary Science and STEM:
- Collaborate with and provide professional development to assist and support school personnel in secondary Science and STEM
- Develop and provide training and coordination for science and STEM
- Keep Region 12 educators abreast of current trends and issues related to STEM and science
Education/Certification
- Master's degree
- Texas teaching certificate
- Valid Texas license
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Experience in public education in secondary science
- Preferred experience with instructional coaching
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge and demonstrated competency of developing and presenting professional learning
- Thorough knowledge of secondary science and STEM
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
- Experience in blended learning
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter, and team player
