This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facility during afternoon and evening hours. Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee daily operations during closing hours, ensuring compliance with daycare policies and procedures.
- Staff Management: Coordinate with daycare staff to ensure smooth transitions at the end of the day, assigning tasks as needed.
- Childcare Support: Assist with childcare duties as required, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Parent Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pickup times, addressing any concerns or updates.
- Safety and Security: Implement and maintain safety protocols, including securing the premises and ensuring all children are safely picked up.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete closing procedures such as record-keeping, inventory management, and facility cleanup.
- Cleaning Tasks: Complete all end of the night cleaning tasks, and ensure employees complete their cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other managers and staff to uphold high standards of care and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare or daycare settings preferred.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills.
- Must work until close, which ranges from 6pm-6:15pm, Monday through Friday
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred, but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in childcare or early childhood education is a plus.
