Description
The Fundraising Specialist is Education Success Foundation's fundraising database (Humanitru) expert, tracks all revenue for the Development and Communications Department, ensures that the data is managed effectively, and that donors are acknowledged in a timely, accurate manner. They are motivated to organize and maintain an effective database and look forward to working with a team to optimize processes. The Fundraising Specialist coordinates aspects of events and initiatives, printing and mailing, product ordering, communications, and scheduling. They are responsible for administrative and reception duties in a low traffic office environment.

Our EnCompass and Norman Howard School programs, and community-wide initiatives, reach 2,400 children, teens and families, every year.
Position Responsibilities :
- Manages all contacts, and gift and data processing in the fundraising database; updates constituent information; oversees the execution and timeliness of gift acknowledgements
- Supports the team with report creation, mailing lists, donor recognition letters, and printed and electronic forms while implementing practices to guide data entry, donor information storage, and accurate financial reports
- Analyzes and prepares data reports for use by the Director of Development, leadership team, and board members
- Produces accurate (e)mailing lists for communication pieces to support donor and community engagement
- Serves as the direct liaison to the Finance department for reconciliations, ensuring gifts and pledges are accurately tracked and invoiced
- Conducts donor and prospect research. Stays attuned with news articles, community recognitions, birthdays / deaths, opportunities for connection
- Coordinates event invitations and RSVPs, catering, event set-up, and follow-up communications
- Schedules Board Meetings (12 per year), Committee Meetings, and donor and community meetings for CEO, Director, and Manager
- Coordinates printing, mailing, and ordering with vendors, pick-up / drop off of materials
- Executes administrative and reception tasks, including but not limited to answering and directing phone calls; retrieving and distributing mail; answering door and receiving visitors; managing contact lists; and ordering of office supplies, letterhead, business cards, etc.
