What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Program Coordinator position at Education & Training Resources LLC?
Summary of Position Functions:
Provides oversight for the center's training day programs.
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule evening program activities that enhance students’ personal and professional growth, and that will promote retention.
- Assist Center management in planning, implementing, and promoting various social, educational, and cultural activities.
- Supervise and provide ongoing performance assessments of activities facilitators.
- Provide and disseminate center-wide communication for all evening program activities.
- Communicates regularly with Student Government officers to keep them abreast of center evening events and activities.
- Keeps a log of all planned and executed events, including all details, evaluations, metrics, and feedback.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with outside organizations.
- Provide outside speakers for evening program activities.
- Oversee the Center’s Evening Tutoring Program.
- Assist the center in every effort necessary to achieve its OMS goals and ensure that the Zero Tolerance Policy is strictly adhered to.
- Promotes a positive work environment demonstrating career success standards and core values.

Skills and Competencies:
- Willing and able to establish and maintain effective work relationships with management staff, co-workers, students, and community organizations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including program development, promotion, implementation, evaluation, recordkeeping, and budget management.
- Capacity to direct the work of others and set and enforce accountability.
- Ability to be flexible, creative, and unique with programming and program promotion.
- Proficient in using computer software such as MS Word, Excel Outlook, etc.
Educational Requirements/Certifications:
- Associate degree or a combination of education and experience.
- 2-years' experience in student activities, student club advisement and/or management.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
